In a nail-biting showdown at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh clinched a thrilling 9-run victory over Zimbabwe in the fourth T20I, securing an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
After being put into bat by Zimbabwe, who won the toss and opted to field first, Bangladesh posted a competitive total, largely thanks to a stellar half-century by Towhid Hridoy.
Despite a spirited fightback by Zimbabwe’s Faraz Akram, Bangladesh held their nerve to seal the win. The match was a rollercoaster of emotions, with both teams showcasing their prowess on the field, leaving fans on the edge of their seats until the very last ball. With this victory, Bangladesh continues to dominate the series, leaving Zimbabwe with a mountain to climb in the remaining match.
